Our luxury five-star Natural Hair Salon need a professional Hair Braider.

BIG SIX BEAUTY is looking for a full-time. Must have basic skills in hair braiding. Hair Braider must provide services that are neat and completed in a timely fashion. Looking for a friendly, responsible and trustworthy person that’s loyal and takes direction with ease and has great work ethic. Below are some of the basic skills required but desire to grow skills in braiding industry is a must:

· Basic skills in braiding

· Cornrow

· Box braid

· Wash hair

All supplies and clients will be provided; although promotion of salon is encouraged. Our workers meet professional standards.

Payment Terms: Paid on commission, per client. Potential to make upwards of $1000+ per week. Training provided.

Pay: $1,000 - $1,200.00 per week

Benefits:

We also do 50/50 depending on how good and your working experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions.
Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails, and buns.
Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences.
Ensure the tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed.





SKILLS

Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, or Hair Braider
Proficiency in hair braiding and twisting with and without extensions.
Hands-on experience with various styling techniques
Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothing
Up-to-date with industry trends
Excellent communication skills
Physical stamina to stand for long hours
Flexibility to work in shifts
A valid license from a cosmetology school is preferred but not required.
